The Nokia Lumia 1020 was a pretty great phone when it was first released, but unfortunately, it did not really manage to capture the imagination of the masses simply because it was batting for a less popular mobile operating system. Just like how one is unable to keep a good man down, so too, does it look as though a good smartphone has a legacy that should be cherished. A new leak has offered hope that there is a successor in the pipeline for the Lumia 1020, where Evan Blass, also known as evleaks, has teased the masses with a massively blurred-out image of a camera sensor that does look as though it would be part of the Lumia collection.
His Twitter caption? It reads, "Don't give up hope, Windows fans." This is a rather coy message, but at least it does seem to tell far more than what the image does, since anyone would be able to apply filters to the current Lumia 1020 camera at the back and claim that this is a sensor on an upcoming device.
All in all, it is best to take things like this with a healthy pinch of salt – after all, you can never quite tell just when it might end up to be true – or in a fair number of cases, false.
