Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL Will Be Arriving in India

It has been a while since Microsoft has unveiled their upcoming flagship phones for 2015, the Microsoft Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL, but it is almost mid-November and Microsoft has yet to release the much awaited phones in the market.

Although Microsoft has yet to announce Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL for the North American market, Microsoft India has just announced via their official Twitter page that the powerful Microsoft Lumia flagship phones will be released in the country next month, December.

Both the Microsoft Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL will come a bit cheaper in India priced only at Rs 38,000 (roughly $575), while the Lumia 950 XL will be priced at Rs 43,000 (roughly $650).

As for the specs, the Microsoft Lumia 950 will have a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, with a microSD slot that can support up to 200 GB. The Lumia 950 will have a 20 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. The Lumia 950 will be powered by a 3000 mAh battery.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is a bit more powerful, sporting a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 3 GB RAM. Much like the Lumia 950, the Lumia 950 XL will have a 32 GB internal memory with a microSD slot that can support up to 200 GB. It will also have a 20 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. The Lumia 950 XL will have a more powerful battery at 3340 mAh.

Both the Microsoft Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL will come with the Window 10 mobile OS installed, a USB Type-C, built-in wireless charging capability, and dual SIM.
