One of the biggest tech company and phone maker Apple has upgraded there trading plans for their users and it is just going to cost there user a mere $15. The Apple Company is trying to get iPhone users to upgrade their phones to the more brand new models such as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S this is due to a report that seemingly alludes to Apple having a flat sale on their new models on the first quarter of 2016.
Many iPhone users argue that there is no sense in buying a new $500 iPhone and that they just rather wait for the new iPhone 7 that might come out this fall. So, Apple has made it cheaper and easier for their users to trade or upgrade their existing iPhones by just paying a small sum of $15 per month for 24 months. Apple is calling the upgrade "Trade Up With Installments" and it is a current expansion of Apple's iPhone Upgrade System.
The trade up depends with what iPhone model the user has. If the person still has an iPhone 4 in hand and wants to trade it in, they can only avail to trade up for a iPhone 5s and it will cost them $14.58 per month for 2 years. While for people who have iPhone 5 can trade in their phone for an iPhone 6 and those with iPhone 6 can go for the iPhone 6s, the cost for both are the same at $14.54.
Also, the newly purchased iPhones will be unlocked thus allowing the users to choose their mobile carriers. The trade in isn't also just limited to iPhone holder, Apple will allow Android and Windows phone trade in, though there is no news yet as to how much the trade in payment will actually be. Another option Apple has given their users is the possibility of trading in their phones for Apple store credits.
