When Samsung introduced the Galaxy S7, it touted all of the device's new features, including its improved camera and water-resistant body. Today another notable Galaxy S7 feature that Samsung didn't touch on has been revealed.
Emojipedia has detailed all of the new emoji that'll come with the Android 6.0.1-powered Galaxy S7. There are several popular emoji included, like the middle finger, taco, and burrito, as well as several new faces. Samsung made notable tweaks to some of its new emoji, including altering the "Face With Rolling Eyes" emoji to look less annoyed than other versions. A comparison is below.
While there are a lot of new emoji coming to the Galaxy S7 and other Samsung phones that'll get Android 6.0.1, there are still some on other platforms that are missing from Samsung's update. Those include skin tone modifiers and country flags.
Google added new emoji to Android with the update to Android 6.0.1, so it makes sense that Samsung phones that get that update would see the new emoji, too. Still, it's interesting to get a preview of the emoji ahead of the GS7 launch and to see how Samsung tweaked some of the characters. To see more Samsung-ified emoji, hit up the link below.
