Lumia 650 DS and Lumia 650 XL could arrive next week

In a report by The Marshall Town, Microsoft is expected to unveil its last Lumia device sometime in late February at the Mobile World Congress.

After Microsoft introduced the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, the company has been working towards updating and upgrading these devices.

The report also claimed that the Lumia 650 will be the last Lumia phone to be released by Microsoft, with most consumers expecting a new line of smartphones from the software giant.

A number of Skype users on the 950 and 950 XL Lumia devices have been complaining that they are facing a major lag when they use the Wi-Fi network, but it works fine over the LTE or even the 3G connectivity. Those with Microsoft hardware are mostly happy with how they can interact with Windows 10, but others with third-party hardware that have installed Windows 10 seem to be having compatibility and performance issues.

Assumptions about the Microsoft Surface Phone have started middle of a year ago at the same time that the touted Surface Pro 3 was talked about.

"Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL provide stunning displays, the latest in processing power, and improved battery life and quick charging". The image shows a device with a metallic frame, but looks like a Lumia 550. Importantly, the Lumia 650 DS appears to be quite close to its release as it was spotted passing through FCC recently and it is thought to have dual SIM slots onboard. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210/212 processor with 1 GB RAM to boot. With its growth, the company is no doubt slowly establishing a high-end brand and innovative Windows device. Internal storage is only 8 GB, but is expandable via a microSD card for up to 128 GB.

The Lumia 650 was supposed to be a mid-ranged device, while the Lumia 850 was aimed to be premium one.

Though, there is nothing wrong with the size of the device, as the previous generation Lumia 600-series had the 640 and 640 XL at 5 inches and 5.7 inches. The Lumia 650. according to leaked information and FCC filings, will feature a plastic construction and a 5-inch 720p display. So what do you guys think? Microsoft will now focus their efforts on the development of "Surface Phones".
