WhatsApp 2.12.300 Latest Stable Version Download Available for Windows Phone

The developers are continuously working on the WhatsApp application and a new version of the application is the confirmation that they care about this platform. Usually, we're talking about new WhatsApp versions for either iOS or Android, but today we're going to tell you about the latest WhatsApp version for Windows Phone.

WhatsApp 2.12.300 has just been released for the Windows Phone devices and it is currently the latest STABLE version of the application for this operating system. The new WhatsApp version comes with some new features such as text grouping, which give a cleaner look to the chat window when you will send several messages in a row.

You will also notice that the new WhatsApp version comes with a new notification system. So, when you will receive a message while the app is closed, it will be cleared from the Action Center once you open WhatsApp.

In addition to these improvements, the WhatsApp 2.12.300 version also comes with bug fixes and stability improvements. With other words, the application will not crash as often as it did before and you should notice an overall improvement while using the application.

We remind you that the owners of WhatsApp have decided to remove the 0.99 dollars yearly fee, which means that from now on, this application is totally free. There are also rumors which say that the WhatsApp will receive a Video Calling feature soon, and it will be released firstly for Android, and later for iOS and Windows Phone.

Unfortunately, the Video Calling rumor has not been confirmed by the developers, so we should take this news with a bit of salt. If you are an owner of a smartphone that runs on Nokia Symbian S60, Nokia S40, BlackBerry, BlackBerry 10, Android 2.1, Android 2.2, Windows 7.1 then you should know before the end of 2016, your device will not be supported anymore by WhatsApp.
