Gamer heads and comic books fans out there, here's an exciting news for you. Samsung in collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment has launched a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition. The smartphone commemorates the third anniversary of the popular game Injustice: Gods Among Us. The Injustice Edition will be available in early June exclusively in China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America, Russia and other markets, which would be revealed soon. The price of the smartphone has not been announced, though.

A video of the official unboxing was also revealed along with the launch. The smartphone comes in a special themed package with goodies inside which includes a gold batwing, a themed protective case, and Gear VR Oculus headset. But the Gear VR will be available in select stores only. The smartphone comes in a sleek black color with gold highlights and has a custom Batman theme. Another bonus is Injustice game credits and Oculus VR content vouchers, but that too may depend on the markets and mobile operators.

This the third superhero themed smartphone Samsung has launched. Earlier it had teamed up with Marvel to launch a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition, but it was only available in select markets such as South Korea, China, and Hong Kong. Samsung had also launched a Galaxy S6 Edge+ Ant-Man Edition for the China market.

Apart from Samsung, there have been other superhero-themed smartphones in the past. Nokia had launched a Lumia 900 "The Dark Knight Rises" Limited Edition and Lumia 925 Superman Limited Edition while Alcatel launched the One touch Idol Ultra Iron Man Edition.

Given a long list of markets the Injustice Edition would be available, there is a possibility that it would be available in India as well. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is available in India right now for around Rs 56,900. The Injustice Edition would be available closer or higher to this price. For those who want to grab this edition but cannot afford to, you can  always check out the e-commerce sites to check out some awesome cases and covers to satiate your cravings.
