Thumbs up: Windows 10 Mobile is finally getting fingerprint scanning support

Microsoft did not even talk about the Windows 10 Mobile OS and the Windows Phone devices during the Build 2016 event, and the company is now expected to come out with the Surface Phone device next year.

During the upgrade process when you activate your copy of Windows 10, Microsoft generates a "digital entitlement" for your specific computer that they keep track of in case you ever need to reinstall in the future. The app collects and shares information in real time and presents an easy-to-use interface on Windows 10 mobile devices and tablets for ground agents.

When Microsoft launched Windows 10, it did so mostly with company created applications. If you have the drivers for your TPM installed (which you should) then "Trusted Platform Module 2.0" will be in the Device Manager of your Windows 10 PC under the "Security Devices" tab.

This service announcement affects you only if you are running Azure Mobile Services.

Windows Hello, Microsoft's biometric security capability which allows users to log in using facial and/or fingerprint recognition, will be further fleshed out with the coming Anniversary Update, too.

Microsoft was joined by customers and partners including Rockwell Automation, Analog Devices and Schneider Electric, the latter of which is using Azure IoT technology in its EcoStruxure portfolio for solutions ranging from family home thermostats to business-critical weather forecasting. If so, do it regularly use it to unlock your phone? Once they signed into their Microsoft account, users could connect to networks shared by Facebook, Outlook.com, or Skype contacts.

The Sunrise mobile calendar app, regarded as one of the best for iOS and Android, is going to disappear from app stores "in the next few days" with a full shutdown on 31 August following warnings of its demise last October.

If you are a Windows 10 phone user, there is something to rejoice as the long awaited and sorely missed fingerprint scanner feature is finally making its way to the Microsoft's Smartphone.
