Fitbit, the company behind several wearable fitness devices, has released an update to its Universal Windows App for Windows 10. The update adds a new feature to assist those who struggle with their sleep: a sleep schedule.
This new feature will use your connected Fitbit wearable to track your sleep, and based on its findings, it will recommend sleep goals to you. The app will even go one step further and set your bedtime for you – and tell you when to get up.
The exact features of the Sleep Schedule include:
So now your phone will be able to let you know when it is time to get a good nights sleep – after all, you'll feel better in the morning–when your Fitbit tells you to wake-up, of course.
With all these new sleep management features, you'll be able to get your sleep schedule in order and ensure that you aren't feeling tired when it is time for work or school – provided you stick to the recommended goals. The sleep history will also help you check-up on how you have been doing, by allowing you to chart your past performance.
Sleep Schedule is supported on all Fitbit wearables that track your sleep automatically, which includes: Surge, Blaze, Charge HR, Alta, Charge, Flex, and One.
To access this new feature, you'll first need to update your app if you already have it installed; this can be done by going to the Store then clicking Downloads & Updates. Otherwise, if you're new to Fitbit, you can download the app below. Once you've got the latest version, you can head over to the Sleep dashboard, where you'll be able to access all the tools to cover your sleepy-needs.
