Microsoft has ensured that they have marketed their operating system quite well, and it wasn't like they had any choice.
The OS is expected to set the next decade for Microsoft and the company has been doing a heavy advertising and PR campaign.
There wasn't a chance that you could miss the fact that Windows 10 was coming out.
The company was in the news every single day since it was announced, and was headlining everything from the local stores to the news channels.
The OS has been decorated as the 'final version of windows' and comes as 'the future is here'.
The company has been talking about the release of the OS with glee and pride.
However in all this hullaballoo, the company has also managed to achieve another target – all the negative publicity about the Microsoft Mobiles making major losses and causing the company to bleed out several billion dollars, 7.6 Billion USD to be precise and lose 7800 jobs has been brushed under the carpet and Microsoft has done a great crisis management.
However burying the news does not mean it did not happen, and Microsoft being a great business unit is quite aware of that.
The company has been working closely with the mobiles department and is expected to come out with a better plan of action.
The current plans are expected to be releasing two of the best windows phone based devices ever created – the Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL.
These two have been rumoured to release for a very long time but the company has maintained a stunning silence around it.
The Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL have been around the news for a short term but have by and large been creating most of the noise when it comes to Microsoft Mobiles.
The first photo of what looks like the Lumia 940 XL has just been leaked online and GSM Arena has featured it, quoting, "The first photos have surfaced on line of these two secret devices and it shows the XL model in all its glory running the Windows 10 Mobile OS. According to popular website GSM Arena, the device has dual-SIM functionality and sports a QHD (2,560×1,440) touchscreen, which will be a first for the Windows world when it launches.
It's also got a USB Type-C port, and it's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset aided by 3GB of RAM.
It currently runs Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview, and its model number is RM-1116.
Its camera can shoot 1080p videos at up to 90fps and 720p videos at up to 120fps."
