The country is the second largest population of the world, and has been a place where the economies have been opening up and the purchasing power has been rising.

With more and more government initiatives allowing other nations to come and set up their production units in the country, India has now become a goldmine for sales.

Considering the size of its population and the increasing purchasing power, and a booming economy, the country is expected to attract more and more major international companies in the days to come.

Microsoft has become the latest name to release their newest products in the country.

India has recently witnessed the arrival of the much awaited Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL phones, and this has come to India in just 10 days of its US release.

India is also the country of origin for Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella (as well as Google CEO Sundar Pichai).

The country has become a major hotspot for sales and Microsoft hopes the Indian markets would help them revive the Microsoft Mobiles brand.

The Lumia 950 comes into the markets with a 5.2-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) AMOLED screen, and it offers the users a pixel density of 564ppi and is protected with the help of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

When we talk of the internal specifics, the phone runs on a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The phone releases with 32GB of inbuilt storage and which can be expandable up to 200GB via microSD card.

The Lumia 950 runs on a 3000mAh battery which can be removed.

It also features a 20MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera.

The Lumia 950 XL comes with pretty much the same features as the Lumia 950, with the primary difference coming when we look at the screen size, battery and the processor.

The Lumia 950 XL comes with a larger screen at 5.7 inches, and to support the larger screen the battery stands at 3340mAh. The phone also comes with an improved processor – the Snapdragon 810.

Both the phones feature triple LED flash and dedicated camera buttons. Both devices support the USB C connectivity and 4G LTE networks.

Both the phones also support fast charging and feature a 'liquid cooling' technology which prevent them from heating up.
