Windows 10 Build 14279: Here Are The Issues Fixed For PC

However, it raises the question - what new hardware?!

Likewise, Windows 10 is still scheduled to receive the first half of the Redstone update in June 2016.

While it was initially believed that the second wave of the Redstone update would come in late 2016, it appears that the company has pushed back its release in order to synchronize it with the debut of new hardware. Now, according to WinBeta, it looks like we'll be seeing the second Redstone update in spring 2017, still less than a year after we expected the first to show up. It's likely that build 10586.164 will continue improving the migration process from Windows Phone 8.1 to Windows 10 Mobile, as the official rollout is set to begin sometime this month.

As of today Windows 10 Mobile is on build number 10586.107 which was a Fast Ring build about a month ago and 10586.122 is now in the Windows Insider Slow and Preview Ring for Windows 10 Mobile for what should be final testing. It's quite possible we'll still see a lineup of Windows 10 devices absent Intel-based processors. It has also addressed some of the issues Windows 10 PC users were facing and have also resolved them. While the Surface Book and other recent devices were generally well reviewed, some of that praise was quickly hampered by a variety of hardware glitches.

Last year, when Microsoft Developer Evangelist Jerry Nixon boldly claimed that Windows 10 would be Microsoft's last version of the OS, many of us were hesitant to accept it as fact.

So looking ahead what devices might we be seeing from Microsoft in that early 2017 timeframe?
