Instagram Windows 10 beta app revealed
According to Windows Central, the beta is effectively a port of the iOS version, using Facebook's own technology rather than Microsoft's iOS-to-Windows 10 porting tools.
Microsoft's Continuum platform, which promises to turn a Windows 10 phone into a fully functional PC when plugged into a monitor, mouse and keyboard accessory was also highly touted in 2015.

Experts predict that the rollout will begin passively as Microsoft will prompt users to initiate the upgrade manually from their devices.
In short, the roll out is expected to happen in the coming weeks, but there is no way to confirm anything for now even though both sources seem to be linked via the email that was sent to partners. However, sometime later on, the company will start actively pushing the new firmware to suitable devices, Win Beta reported. According to Phone Dog, Microsoft's Windows Phone software has always been criticized for lacking big name apps.

Windows 10 Mobile should become available for some devices later this month after the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL get their monthly service updates.
