Microsoft Lumia 650 dual-SIM goes official in India with a price tag of INR 15299

Soon after the worldwide announcement of Lumia 650 Dual SIM smartphone and its availability via third-party sellers in India, Microsoft has announced that handset around the country with a price tag of Rs. 15,299.

The device will be available in matte black and matte white color variants. The company further revealed that only the dual-SIM model is for sale in India. The Lumia 650 is touted by Microsoft as the smartphone to offer buyers the "perfect balance between work and personal needs."

Commenting on the launch, Ajey Mehta, Country General Manager, Microsoft India said, "We crafted the Lumia 650 with the finest detail while delivering a consistent and familiar Windows 10 experience. Lumia 650 brings the best of Microsoft productivity, beautiful design, and an affordable price. The device is perfect for enterprises and Windows fans alike."

The Lumia 650 flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 resolution) OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Windows-based smartphone is backed by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage that could be further expandable up to 200GB via microSD slot.

On camera section, the dual-Sim Lumia 650 features an 8-megapixel of rear camera paired up with a 5-megapixel front facing camera.

The device supports Indian 4G LTE band. Besides, there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port on the connectivity front and dual-SIM support with dual standby technology.

It is backed by a 2000 mAh of battery, which the company claims to offer a standby time of up to 26 days and a talk time of up to 16 hours.
