Microsoft Lumia 950 May Not Have The Likeable Factor

On Thursday, the Redmond-based software giant announced several new features and apps that will be coming as part of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. As before, the update is only compatible with smartphones running on Windows 10. The Windows 10 Mobile Insider Build 14322 is now available for Windows Insiders in the fast ring. From all round Schools already enhanced with Windows 10, from this summer classrooms to become more productive with Windows 10 anniversary update. Glyphs have been added to the settings pane - although compared to rival platforms, it's still hard to differentiate items in Windows 10, as they lack colour, and wireframes are harder to discern than strong visual blocks.

All the Lumia devices (except Lumia 635) which previously supported Windows 10 Mobile Insider builds are eligible for the newest developer build. Microsoft says Lumia 635 will be added to the list at a later date.

Elsewhere, expect to be able to eventually unlock your device simply by being in its presence with a compatible wearable device, such as the Microsoft Band 2. The camera control will also offer users with a phone that lack a dedicated camera button to launch the camera app directly from the lock screen. Using a streamline, three-step process, the new Set Up School PCs app enables teachers to set up new devices in minutes.

As you'll see in the video above, the Messaging Everywhere feature seems to work very well in beta form.

You can now set Photo Reminders by taking snapshots of something you need to be reminded about or can use content from select Universal Windows Phone apps to set reminders.

In addition, the Microsoft Edge browser will receive improvements to its tab management, but you will also notice some updates to the copy/paste tools. Check this update if you haven't checked this before. In many cases these apps run the same code on each device making transition easy with data stored in OneDrive allowing you to pick up where you left off from one device to the other.
