As we are heading too close to the public launch of the Anniversary Update in July, what Microsoft has done so far is the recent release of a new Windows 10 build for the fast ring of the Windows Insider program.
After the availability of Windows 10 build 14376 for both PC and Mobile, the focus is less on developing new features but bug fixing, while performance improvements are under strong concentration for making it ready for the launch in July.
According to the head of the Windows Insider program,Dona Sarkar, there are no less than 1,800 fixes in this last build, which makes it obvious that we are approaching the moment when the Anniversary Update will finally go live.
The majority of the issues were reported in the previous build and Microsoft has managed to address all those issues including the bug causing the networks or VPN connections in the network fly out on the taskbar to launch correctly. In addition, what next should correct the recently-reported problems causing the store either to crash or to freeze, is the availability of new store update on both PCs and mobile devices.
About bug issues, it is worth mentioning that there are absolutely no known issues in this PC build which is a living proof that development advances quite well, moreover,it ensures the smooth functioning.
Microsoft said that they don't have any known issues to list at the moment for PC. If anything comes up, they'll update this post and add them here.
It comes with the same new backup system that is making it impossible to restore the Start screen layout as long as the mobile build functional. There are also battery issues on a number of Windows Phone devices, for instance, Lumia 830, 930 and 1520. Besides all these, they are working on Wi-Fi disconnect problems as well, while same is the case with a bug that blocks you from using touch to interact with a PDF in Microsoft Edge.
