imageMicrosoft, the US based software maker, has unveiled its latest Nokia 216 feature phone, coming as a surprise to most, as the software giant previously announced to sell its feature phone business to a subsidiary of Foxconn.

The new Nokia 216 looks like your everyday cell phone, is a dual-SIM feature phone packed with a polycarbonate body, with matching colour keys, and a 2.4-inch QVGA screen. The phone includes features such as a 0.3 MP back and front camera, FM radio, MP3 and video players.

imageRunning on the Series 30 OS with the Opera mini browser, the phone is backed by a 1,020 mAh battery, which offers a standby time of 19 days, supporting 18 hours of continuous voice conversation, and 47 hours of music playback, reported FirstPost.

The latest Nokia mobile can store up to 2000 contacts in its memory card that can support up to 32GB, and it even has a headphone jack.

Microsoft sells millions of phones every month, however its Lumia and Windows Phone have not succeeded, reported The Verge as both sales and market share of Windows Phone continues to drop since the company's mobile restructuring in 2015.
