Nokia Lumia 1020 system freeze (Our phones have now been fixed :). Thanks Microsoft/Nokia)

Video Rating: / 5

UPDATE (13/03/2014) Thank you to Possuka at MS support in Finland, and to the Nokia UK care team. The phone was replaced just 3 days after posting this video. The new phone has worked perfectly, and has not frozen once. Our other 2 64GB 1020's have also not frozen since the Denim firmware (with a record uptime of 12 days on one of the phones!).

UPDATE (20/02/2015):

Thank you to Possuka from the support team in Finland who has replied to the Microsoft forum. It looks like the latest Denim firmware's do include the software fix – and that the phone in the video *may* have a hardware fault instead. Denim has certainly improved the situation with our other two 1020's – though it's too early to say if it has fixed them completely. Regardless, it is greatly appreciate to have someone from Microsoft liaising with us. We're all reasonable people – and just want to be listened to and kept informed.

We have 3x Lumia 1020's in our family. All of them are suffering to varying degrees with daily freezes along with inoperable wifi and bluetooth modules. This is a known issue – which Microsoft hasn't fixed in FIVE MONTHS!

Microsoft are fully aware of this problem, and confirmed a fix was inbound in November. Our phones have now received the Denim update, yet the problems still persist. Most frustratingly, Microsoft simply will not advise us on if/when the software fix is going to be delivered.

A heads up for you Microsoft – your terrible approach to customer service is likely to see you lose 3 owners of your flagship devices.

Get a grip – give us a fix.
