WhatsApp Team has pushed out a new update for its Beta App for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The app has been bumped to new version 2.17.8. The update comes without a changelog. But the team has fixed the overlapping bug which was there since last two updates for the Beta App.
The Team with the latest update has now fixed the "Overlapping of the Favourites Section with Contacts Status" bug which was present since last two beta updates. Apart from the Bug Fix and improvement in the performance of the App, we couldn't notice anything new.
The team is very hard at work to bring the Windows Phone App on par with Android and iOS. However there are still lot of features missing in the Windows Phone App like the Statutes Feature, GIF Search option etc. (which is available for Android Beta App).
