The development comes just day after it was revealed that the missing RAF gunner is to become a dad in the spring.
Earlier this month Corrie's mum Nicola Urquhart told This Morning she believes somebody could be holding her 23-year-old son captive and that they could crack under "phenomenal" public pressure.
The tearful former policewoman appealed for anyone with information about Corrie to come forward in return for a £50,000 reward.
In a desperate bid to trace him his family hired "an elite team of specialists" as his disappearance stretches into months.
Police have found no trace of the 23-year-old serviceman since he was last spotted on CCTV in the early hours of September 24.
He was reported missing after he failed to turn up at his base in RAF Honington, and it was feared he could have tried to walk the ten miles back.
