Reminder: One month before the BBC Windows phone app shuts down

We reported a while back that the BBC iPlayer Windows phone app would be getting shut down in April and now users of the app have begun receiving notifications from the BBC reminding them of the closure in a month's time.

While the shutdown of an app can be frustrating, users can still stream BBC video and audio through the Microsoft Edge browser on any Windows phone running Windows 10 Mobile. Those users who are on a device that's unable to upgrade to the latest version of the operating system will still be able to stream audio in Windows Phone 8.1.

Does this app closure affect you? Let us know in the comments below.
