Microsoft Lumia 535 vs. Lenovo Vibe P1 – Comparing Best Specs and Features

Today we're going to compare Lenovo's Vibe P1 (released in October 2015) and Microsoft's Lumia 535 (released in December 2014) devices. The first one is a phablet with mid-range specs, while the other is a low end mid-tier phone running on Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1. In this article we'll compare these two models and maybe you'll decide to buy one of them.

Designs

The Vibe P1 measures 152.9×75.6×9.9mm and weights 189 grams. Its body is made entirely with metal, but there's a plastic strip at the top whose role is to hide the SIM and microSD card slots, while the plastic strip from the bottom is only for effect. On the other hand, the Lumia 535 is slimmer and lighter, as it measures 140.2×72.4×8.8mm and weights 146 grams, but its back is made of glossy plastic and it's curved on the edges.

Displays

The Vibe P1 has an IPS display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Lumia 535 features an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 960×540 pixels at 220 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Vibe P1 comes with a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset, an octa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.1GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 2GB of RAM. The Lumia 535 is powered by a much weaker Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which is backed by an Adreno 302 graphics card and 1GB of RAM.

Storages

The Vibe P1 has been released with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. The Lumia 535 comes with only 8GB of internal storage, and the maximum capacity SD card supported by this device is also 128GB.

Cameras

The Vibe P1 sports a primary camera of 13MP (found on the rear side of the smartphone) which offers autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and a secondary camera of 5MP (found on the front side of the handset). Lumia 535 comes with a weaker primary camera of 5MP that features LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, while the secondary camera has the same resolution.

Batteries

The Vibe P1 has been released with a gigantic non-removable battery of 5000 mAh, while the Lumia 535 houses a weak 1905 mAh battery, but which can be replaced.
