Up to now Microsoft hasn't had much luck in coming out ahead of the competition such as that from Apple and Samsung. The Microsoft Lumia 950 may be able to change all that though.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 has a display of 5.2 inches and this offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The display of the Samsung Galaxy S6 is 5.1 inches with the same resolution and the iPhone 6S has a display of 4.7 inches and 1334 x 750 resolution. It also offers 3D Touch technology but it doesn't win the Lumia 950.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 has the largest battery. The one on the iPhone 6S is smaller than the battery on the one before as it is 1715mAh. The Lumia 950 is the winner once again.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 comes with the USB C-Connector while the iPhone 6S offers the Lightning connector and there is the USB micro connector on the Samsung Galaxy S6. This means that there really isn't a clear winner.

There is 32GB of storage on the Microsoft Lumia 950 and there is also support for SD card. The Samsung Galaxy S6 comes in 32GB but there isn't support for SD card on the device. The iPhone 6S comes with 16GB but there is no expansion and so the Lumia 950 comes out as the winner.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 offers up the most megapixels and it has OIS which means it can take superb photos in low light conditions. The camera on the Samsung Galaxy S6 is 16MP and the iPhone 6S offers the 12MP camera. Each of the handsets offers up a camera of 5MP on the back.

The price tag of the Microsoft Lumia 950 is $549 and you save $100 over what you would have to pay for the Apple iPhone 6S. The Samsung Galaxy S6 comes in with a price tag of $579.99 if you go for the 32GB version. For the price tag it is the Microsoft Lumia 950 that comes in ahead.
