As I'm sure you know, I've been pushing the Clean PC mantra since January 2015, when Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella declared that he wanted users to love Windows 10.
The tool supports only three language versions: English (EN-US), Chinese (ZH-CN), and Japanese (JA-JP). The tool automatically removes all the apps and installs a fresh copy without users having to sort out anything manually.
Since update notifications are delivered via a system-wide notification, you'll be prompted about them even if you're playing games, Windows Vista, 7 and 8 had the habit of restarting your computer without your consent, Windows 10 hasn't done it once. You can now simply use the keyboard shortcut Windows + F to open the Hub and provide feedback. And as for mobile users, the key combination remains same - Vol down + Power.
In the latest build, issues with Microsoft Edge have been fixed, where the browser would crash when scrolling through a certain webpage, and the smartphone's switch to vibration mode is also addressed when disconnecting from Bluetooth speakers.
The new ability is separate from the existing "Refresh my PC" and "Reset my PC" options. Meanwhile, OneDrive allows you to access any recent files quickly. You need to burn your own DVD or create a USB stick containing the installer and then set your computer to boot from it, a procedure that can be hard to follow for people who aren't familiar with installing operating systems.
Now available only for Windows Insiders, the new tool fetches a copy of Windows online and performs a clean installation. We are cycling the Quests over the week but will be bringing them all back over the weekend for more feedback. The Windows Store has also received an update to improve its stability and performance.
Jason ticked off a slew of caveats for Refresh Windows, including some during what he referred to as the "preview period" of testing with Insider members. Windows 10 testers will welcome the tool, especially as the Anniversary Update is nearing finalization before it's released broadly next month. There aren't many new features or UI improvements in this latest build. Prior to that, online brokerage giant TD Ameritrade (AMTD) released a Windows 10 app. Wells Fargo says the new app will be released to Windows 10 users by late June and will not run on older versions of Windows.
The bug bash is an important part of Windows culture reports Sarkar in the blogpost. This gives the internal team a chance to make teams, find bugs and bond over the experience. So, an understanding of system settings is a must, else you'll need to troubleshoot your PC.
