Microsoft, over the past several years, has now managed to bring forward a huge change in the markets, and it has slowly been moving forward into the hardware spectrum. Microsoft has now been anticipated to bring forward an even larger number of changes as they progress forward into the world of hardware technology. The company has been working in the markets of the smartphone devices for quite a while now, and it is expected that they will be coming out with even bigger changes in the days to follow. In a recent update, the Windows 10 Mobile OS update has been released for the older Nokia Lumia device in March, bringing many devices up to speed with the latest technologies.
The Windows 10 Mobile OS update came out for the users of many older Nokia Lumia phones such as Lumia 1520, 930, 640, 640XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635 1GB, 636 1GB, 638 1GB, 430, 435, BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q, and the MCJ Madosma Q501 devices.
There has been quite a controversy over this selective release as the users of other popular devices such as the Lumia 520, Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1320 are upset that their devices have not received this update. Microsoft has explained why this selective release was made in their blog, saying:
"This list includes a limited set of Windows Phone 8.1 devices and does not include some devices that are currently running Windows 10 Mobile in the Windows 10 Mobile Insider program. As Windows 10 delivers significant new innovations, many older devices are not able to successfully upgrade without an impact on the customer experience. Our goal is to only offer the Windows 10 upgrade to devices that we are confident can continue to deliver a good customer experience," the company said.
