WhatsApp team had released the new Status option to all Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile users via a Server update. The company had earlier released the new Status option by removing the Old Status from the profile page.
Lot of users have had issues with the removal and had requested the WhatsApp team to bring the Old Status option back to all platforms. After a lot of delay and internal testing the WhatsApp Team finally released the Old Status option back to Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile users and other platforms.
The "Old Status" Option has now been renamed as "About" and can be found in the Profile page. The option has been now been pushed out to all Windows Phone users via a Server Update.
