Microsoft has earlier launched the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL alongside dual-SIM and LTE variants of the handsets at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The Lumia 640 will be available in 3G and LTE models. The phone is a single SIM device with LTE support while the Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM is a dual-SIM device offering 3G connectivity support.
Microsoft Lumia 640 XL is likely to be available in four variants; Microsoft Lumia 640 XL, a single SIM 3G variant; Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE, which is a single SIM LTE variant; Microsoft Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM, a dual-SIM 3G variant, and the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual SIM, a dual-SIM LTE variant.
There are two main features that extricate these two smartphones i.e. display sizes and camera sensors. The Lumia 640 features a 13-cm (5-inch) 720p HD display with an 8MP rear snapper. Whereas, the Lumia 640 XL features a 15-cm (5.7-inch) 720p HD display and a 13MP rear snapper with Carl Zeiss optics.
Microso ft Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL will be available in several colors. Both the budget smartphones are expected to be launched in India soon.
