Microsoft working on "Picture in Picture" feature for Windows 10

I have two test devices (Lumia 640 (Go Phone) and the Lumia 830) that are both showing, according to the Windows 10 Mobile Upgrade Advisor, as eligible for the upgrade but waiting on its release from my carrier. For organizations wanting to track when Microsoft released, or is planning to release, its products and features, try the Microsoft Product Roadmap resource published at 1105 Media sister site RCPmag.com. Ajey Mehta, Country General Manager of Microsoft India described Lumia 650 by saying that Microsoft has crafted Lumia 650 with the finest detail while delivering a consistent and familiar Windows 10 experience.

Microsoft has talked about several new features in this Windows 10 roadmap, including updates to Windows Defender, support for external touch displays when using Continuum, new authentication methods that will help users unlock their PCs using their Windows Phone or Android devices, and improvements to Microsoft Passport.

Furthermore, when the company held the Build 2016 event, it was expected that the company might make some announcements regarding the future of their mobile phone division and the Windows 10 Mobile - probably some hint towards the Surface Phone.

Microsoft released a roadmap of upcoming Windows 10 features, giving a preview of a number of new features that are now in development. That information can be found at this Microsoft "Compare Windows 10 Editions" page.

Microsoft explained that customers will be able to access updated images for Windows 10 1511 in the coming weeks through Windows Update, Windows Update for Business, and Windows Server Update Services, as well as the Volume Licensing Service Centre and MSDN. However, dynamic provisioning, which requires Microsoft Intune and third-party mobile device management services, only works for PCs, tablets and industry devices.

The device supports Indian 4G LTE band. Here you need to enable "Windows Subsystem for Linux (Beta)", and you're done. There are a couple of Microsoft Edge browser features in preview, such as extensions and tab pinning.

However, that middle listing of in development, contains quite a few items that will be of interest as you keep an eye on Windows 10 and its continued progression.

Use your Windows 10 phone in wonderful and astounding ways, including like a PC.* With a Continuum-compatible wired or wireless accessory, you can connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse** or you can let your phone screen function as your virtual trackpad and keyboard.
