As usual, the new Telegram update is shipped through the store, so you should be already able to download it on both Windows and Windows Phone devices.
"Farewell to typos! Starting today, you can edit the text of your messages after sending them". Moreover there's a new people list in "Search" that allows you to quickly access recent chats.
The clever feature works across all chat types, including group and individual conversations. In the context menu that pops up, simply click "Edit", and you're good to go. Tap and hold on the message that you want to correct and then press edit, and of course, now edit to your heart's content. But only those you've used a couple of times will be there and the more you use said bots, the higher they will be on the list.
Telegram has also added ways for you to mention people in group chats, even those without usernames. That person will receive a notification even if they've muted the group.
And what's more, the developing team behind Telegram releases updates for Windows and Windows Phone on a regular basis and that's exactly what happened this morning. "The messages will display a small "edited" label so that it's easy to tell which were altered", the company explains in its blog. If you've used an inline bot at least once, you'll find it in the attachment menu, below the normal options. The update also brings a button that brings you to the bottom of a conversation if you wander upward, but that is only on iOS, for now.
